Terms and rules of use

This is what you accept when booking a trip with us: how payments and cancellations work, the safety rules on the water, and how we take care of the places we visit together.

01Bookings and payments

§Bookings are made online through this site and paid via Flow (credit and debit cards, bank transfer). A booking is confirmed only once payment is approved.
§You will receive a confirmation with the trip details (date, time, meeting point and what to bring) at the email you provide when booking.
§Published prices are per person, in Chilean pesos. All packraft tours include the gear (packraft, paddle and life vest), snack, and the contribution to the locals who host us.
§For scheduled trips (with set dates and limited spots), online payment secures your spot. Spots are limited and assigned by order of payment.

02Cancellations and refunds

§If you cancel 48 hours or more in advance, you can choose between rescheduling at no cost or a 100% refund.
§If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, we offer rescheduling to a new date, subject to availability. No refund applies, except in duly justified cases of force majeure.
§If we cancel the trip —due to weather, river conditions or safety— you choose: reschedule or a 100% refund. The guide assesses the conditions and their decision is final; in the field, safety rules.
§Refunds are processed through the same payment method within 10 business days.

03Weather and safety

§Trips run in light rain — this is Valdivia and it's part of the experience. They are suspended in strong wind, high water or any condition the guide considers unsafe.
§Wearing the life vest is mandatory during all water sections, no exceptions.
§You must follow the guide's instructions at all times, on water and on land.
§You don't need prior experience or advanced swimming skills, but you must tell us when booking about any relevant health condition (mobility, cardiac, respiratory, pregnancy).
§Minors participate only accompanied by a responsible adult.
§Participating under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not allowed.

04Rules in the field

§We travel to natural places, many of them protected or fragile. Everything that comes in, goes out: we carry out 100% of our trash.
§We observe wildlife from a distance: no chasing, feeding or touching birds or any animal. During nesting season we follow the guide's instructions on areas to avoid.
§No flora, wood or any element of the place is removed.
§We avoid loud noises, both on the water and in the forest.
§Drone use is not allowed without prior authorization.
§We respect private property and the work of those who live in the areas we visit.

05Responsibility

§Outdoor activities involve inherent risks. By booking, you declare that you understand them and agree to participate following the indicated safety measures.
§The service includes a guide and the gear detailed in each tour sheet. We are not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings; we recommend bringing only what you need and protecting electronics from water.
§The visitor is responsible for the gear provided for the tour (packraft, paddle, life vest or other): any damage must be reported to the guide, and the cost of repair or replacement must be covered in case of damage or loss attributable to its use.
§Serious breach of the safety rules or the rules in the field entitles the guide to end the trip early, with no right to a refund.

06Personal data

§The data you provide when booking (name, email, phone) is used only to manage your booking and communicate with you about the trip.
§We do not share your data with third parties, except as strictly necessary to process the payment (Flow).
§You can request deletion of your data by writing to our contact email.
